Pickup
All orders must be picked up on the selected date and within the pickup time frame confirmed for your order.
If you are unable to pick up your order as scheduled, please contact us in advance at caketrailbakery@gmail.com to discuss possible options.
Orders that are not picked up on the scheduled pickup date are not eligible for a refund. If a new pickup date is required, a new order will need to be placed.
Delivery
Delivery is available for an additional fee and is arranged through Uber Courier for eligible orders.
Wedding cakes are delivered and set up by The Cake Trail directly at the venue. Delivery and setup fees for wedding cakes will be added to the final invoice.
Allergy Disclaimer
At The Cake Trail, we handle common allergens in our kitchen, including wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts.
We may be able to accommodate certain gluten-free or nut-free requests, and these may carry an additional fee due to the extra care and separate preparation involved.
Although we take every reasonable precaution to reduce cross-contact, our kitchen is not exclusively gluten-free or nut-free, so we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
If you or your recipient has a severe allergy, we encourage you to use your discretion when ordering.
Cancellation, Date Changes & Refunds
If you need to cancel your order, request a date change, or make modifications, please review our cancellation and refund policy before placing your order.
Cake Care & Transport Instructions
For safe transport, please place your cake on a flat surface, such as the passenger-side floor, and keep it away from direct sunlight and heat.
If serving on the same day as pickup, the cake may be kept in a cool indoor space or refrigerated if needed.
If refrigerated, remove the cake at least 2 hours before serving so it can come to room temperature for the best flavour and texture.
